I would always assume the SASC was attached to someone... hardly likely to go of waging war on their own... so SASC would have been (I would have thought) enough.... sabrigade Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 This is very unusual as the S.A.S.C. served in East Africa and the 1st SAI Brigade on the Western Front. First time that I have seen this and I thought that I had medals to all the South African units that served in France! This definitely warrants additional research.
