J Temple-West Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Having not looked at the edged weapon part of the collection for some time, and thinking it was probably a good idea to do a little maintenance, I started pulling blades from scabbards and doing the necessary. Seeing the wonderful etched work done by the bayonet makers of the day for the private purchase market got me thinking of how many designs there must have been. I have a few etched KS-98’s which I’d like to share and would ask that any member who has any to get the camera out and post them. So, first up is an example by ‘Eickhorn’. Single etched - KS-98 short.
