unfortunately this is fake.

It is trying to mimic the design of so-called China War Memorial Medal (Medal in Commemoration of Victory in the Resistance Against Aggression).

Thanks Nick. I suspected as much when I saw how much it resembled the Taiwanese medal. Luckily enough it came in a box of other stuff so I am not out anything on it. Cheers, Geof
