    Wie gehts,

I need some help with an EK2 I recently purchased from a "reputable dealer." Any feedback you can give me will be extremely helpful.

I have posted photos of the EK2 on my FTP space on AOL.

I have taken the liberty of "hyperlinking" some of your photographs for others to see. I regret to inform you that I believe your cross to be a reproduction. The lack of quality, especially as evident on the "1813" date on the reverse, concerns me greatly. I trust you would be able to obtain a refund. . .

    "1813" date:

Hello, Bill. I'm glad you pointed out the "1813" as being suspect. That is what troubled me more than anything, as it just doesn't look right. I have compared this medal to many, many other repros and this looks to be a pretty good one, save for the fact that the reverse lacks quality.

Thank you very much for your reply.
