Bill Garvy Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 (edited) I have taken the liberty of "hyperlinking" some of your photographs for others to see. I regret to inform you that I believe your cross to be a reproduction. The lack of quality, especially as evident on the "1813" date on the reverse, concerns me greatly. I trust you would be able to obtain a refund. . ."1813" date:obverse:reverse: Edited February 17, 2006 by Bill Garvy
Guest DEppler Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Hello, Bill. I'm glad you pointed out the "1813" as being suspect. That is what troubled me more than anything, as it just doesn't look right. I have compared this medal to many, many other repros and this looks to be a pretty good one, save for the fact that the reverse lacks quality.Thank you very much for your reply.DGEppler
