That's a lovely patriotic brooch from early WW1 era, made from silver. The reverse reads "God bless you!".

Thank you so much-I could read the back I just didn't know what it was. That must be a rather rare patriotic piece because the silver content is rather high.

The use of silver, even with high content, wasn't unsual, especially in WW1's first half. Silver was not war strategic, after all.
