Noor Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Hi all, I found today an interesting printed letter to the servicemen and women between a RAF airwoman service and release book. Never seen anything like this before but because its looks like officially printed, I presume there is many of them around. Meantime why I like it most is the hand written date in the right upper corner - 7th June 1944. Also same writing on the back confirms to whom it was - same airwoman who's stuff I have here. Have you seen them before guys, are these letters common?
azyeoman Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I've got the one my father got when he was in the UK in WWII They aren't uncommon but there are a lot of repros out there so you have to be careful. I've seen crazy prices on real ones, but they can be found for reasonable prices too.
Noor Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 Regards the crazy prices: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200935359668
