I have been given this today, I think it is ok from what I have seen online.

The last 4 pics are from a usb microscope thing which seems to distort the colour a bit?

Pity about the pin being broke, bugger!

I have not cleaned it.

I may have some more info tomorrow about the family name and/or some paper if lucky, you never know!

I have been back today for a poke around and found some post war paper that supports the ID of the owner by Br James on WAF.

This was on ebay until last night since I had a bit of a search around and turfed this up on Axis forum:

He may well have been an SS doctor that was tried at the post war French trails for war criminals (Natzweiler 2).

He is metioned as tried in absentia and sentenced to death, I will try and find out if it is the same guy, I know he was a doctor for sure looking through all of his postwar paperwork.

It seems he may not have been a nice person.
