Guest Rick Research Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 (edited) Ah yes, in my pile of Things To Transcribe. Got mine from Mike Dunn years ago. It's laid out VERY oddly-- I assume the towns are on a continuous road map sort of arrangement, since they aren't alphabetical. No index. Some very odd entries, since this was everybody self-reporting. But it is, in fact, intended to be (if not actually) every single man from the Principality of Hohenzollern who served in WW1. Full names and vitals with awards for every blessed private. So Chris-- going to transcribe that for us? Daniel and I never got to the Silver Medals X.... Edited August 2, 2013 by Rick Research
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 This is a nice one... lots of Verdun... lots of detail... now I just need an EK doc to the company :-)
Guest Rick Research Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 THAT is an eye opener! When was it published? I've never seen one down to THAT level before!
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 I will check when I get home. I only have one other at that leve, the 5th Company of the bavarian Leib Regiment, has been of great help to me. So far I have no docs from the I.R. 192....
