alan_g
Here is a 10 place ribbon bar for a German Officer. Made in a "deluxe" style with a backing cloth under the ribbons. Its a half height bar, Godet manufacture.
Paul C
That one may be a little to generic to ID.
Guest Rick Research
A first pass through what we've got couldn't pick him out. The peacetime Red Eagle and wartime BMV4XKr = Major-level, but the BMV3X indicates he was an Oberstleutnant-level when that came along as a second award from Bavaria. Not a bavrian subject. Unfortunately we don't have Oldenburg's OK rolls, and Dave is just working on SOME of the Brunswick BrKs. Typical ca 1934/35 bar with the 1897 mistakenly placed as a "merit" award ahead of this guy's XXV.
