    Hello,

    It's not a French badge. This a badge of Belgian Artillery. Made in France like many Belgian Badge of Belgian army .

    I agree that it's not a French military badge; although made by Drago, Paris, I suspect it is for another country. And I seriously doubt it is cavalry. While the horseshoe might suggest cavalry, crossed cannons make no sense (to me at least) for cavalry. Horse artillery perhaps.

    I first thought Belgian, but it is not the badge of the Belgian Artillery. Perhaps of a Belgian artillery regiment with a horse artillery tradition...
