IrishGunner Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I am not sure, but I think this is a photo of either a Finnish officer with the ribbon for Cross of Liberty in his button-hole. I have no idea what the second ribbon may be...
Hans N Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I see only one ribbon - the Cross of Liberty. And yes it´s a finnish officer

Hans N Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) Thanks Hans! Do you know the rank and time period? A qualified guess regarding the time period is mid 20´s since he seems to be wearing a m/22 tunic with 2nd lieutenant jager battalion shoulder boards. What´s so exceptional is how he wears the ribbon for the Cross of Liberty - this is the war time issued way before they got the crosses made and awarded Edited December 29, 2013 by Hans N
