Bat wings pilot insignia for identification - Israel

This pair of wings measures 3" across and is made of thin stamped brass with worn silver plate and black paint. I appreciate your information concerning the unit and its history.

Almost looks like a Croatian insignia in the center, odd :S they may have similar symbols but I'm stumped :D

It is Israeli. A cmmando qualification, but I can't remember which one (Israel has a lot of different special operations units).

I think it is a Navy Commando similar to seals IDF badge

If you check ebay there are similar ones around :)

Sad thing is, I have one and couldn't remember what it was. Naval commando sounds right. Mine is the master version (star and wreath). Here it is mixed in with some other Israeli insignia:

Thanks so much for your help everyone. Without a proper identification I had suspected from the wear and honest patina that the old wing was a WW2 relic!
