    Those are nice examples. I did a search for some WWI 1917 dated rounds to fill this box and I came across on Ebay a 1918 box filled with original rounds, asking price was $550.00, it didn't sell.

    As for 16 rounds vs 20, I don't know but I've not be able to understand all the hoopla about going to the metric system either. :banger:

    Rick is right though about the rarity of the boxes w/ rounds, an added bonus. Great display item too.

    Thats insane... some guys still shoot original WW1 ammo....

    Probably why it never sold. You know these guys who still shoot 9mm WWI ammo, tell them to save 16 rounds of 1917 dated for me. ;)
