Jock Auld Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) Guys, Been out to play today, the sun was out and so were the stands at the markets. I got this unusual porcelane award for I imagine chicken breeding or such like, its a bit bazzar but nicely made. It is a bit grubby looking, I was thinking of giving it a wash with warm soapy water, any objections or better advice? Cheers Jock:) Edited March 8, 2014 by Jock Auld
J Temple-West Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 It shouldn't do any harm....so don't me 'chicken'...give it a try. Nice piece, btw
Jock Auld Posted March 8, 2014 Author Posted March 8, 2014 John, I shall give it a go tomorrow evening when the wife is finished with me as I have a list of chores/jobs.
BURGERHAUS Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I am curious how it cleaned up or are you still finishing those chores.
Jock Auld Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 It came up well, I shall have to find it again and post up the results. I am still busy as I have all of the chores as the wife is in UK for her fathers 70th birthday! I like your chicken thing, is it a wall hanger and how large is it? Cheers Jock
BURGERHAUS Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) Jock No not a wall hanger but a portable award for merit. Henny Penny stands on a herdbuch. In inches 2 in width and 4 in height. Nice Weekend Robert She appears to be a leghorn and a prolific layer. No stewpot for her. Edited September 7, 2014 by BURGERHAUS
