Noor Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Hi all, Picked up this little bugger here in Dublin and just wondering is it collar or cap badge. Looks like it is designed as a collar but meantime it is still pretty large. Also I presume there was a maker plate inside that is now wear off? Last, from what period it can be and where it sits on the common/rare scale? Thanking you in advance, Timo
peter monahan Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I see you got an answer elsewhere. Nice little piece. Wonder what the regimental nickname was - we have a Canadian infantry unit, the Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment, or 'Hasty Ps' who rejoiced in 'The Ploughboys', which I suspect was grounds for a good thumping if used in a wet canteen!
