christerd Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 (edited) Without question Onni Kokko was the youngest soldier who was awarded the Finnish Liberty Cross. He was awarded a 4th class 1918 shortly before he died in hospital after gun wounds he got in the battle of Tampere. Onni was born March 4th 1904 and died April 22 1918 only fourteen years old, a tragic ending in a extreme tragic war. He was one of 6261 who got the Liberty Cross 4th cl 1918 with swords.
