jonsey2001 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Greetings, I am curious to know what this is. It is addressed to the US. Thanks in advance, George
Paul R Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Very interesting. I have never seen anything like this before. Perhaps a political flyer?
IrishGunner Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 (edited) Looks like a "First Day Cover" for the inauguration (Amtsantritt) of the Nazi General Government in in occupied Krakow, Poland. The General Government territory was an administrative region of the Reich. Interestingly, the address in the US - Newark, Delaware is right next to the University of Delaware. Images on Google. (A First Day Cover is an envelope or card bearing a stamp which is cancelled on the day the stamp is initially placed on sale by the postal authorities.) Edited June 12, 2014 by IrishGunner

Translation - Inauguration of the General Government for the Occupied Polish Territories. Krakau is the German spelling of the Polish city of Krakow (also sometimes spelled Cracow in English)
