Guys,

There was nothing much out there for me yesterday (as a TR w***ker), so I thought I would take this as it is of local interest. The photos do not show how vivid the colours still are except the one with the flash. I know you Imperial people will appreciate it. "The thunder of guns is our greeting"!

Thanks for showing this. Amazing as it is dedicated to an individual, here to Fahrer Lutter ( driver Lutter). I believe such mementos at the end of one's end of obligatory service were quite popular and were displayed with much pride.

Most of those coloured "Reservistenbilder" are dedicated to individuals.

These paintings were made in a quantity of a few hundred, while remaining the head white, Each soldier now put his face upon the empty place, so he´s got his own individual picture.
