--dj--Joe Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Looks like you have it judging from the other letters and period names that fit. --dj--Joe
Robin Lumsden Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Thanks, Joe. There is an Egon Voss, born in Magdeburg in 1938, who is a musicologist and Wagner specialist. I wonder if he could be related to the Hauptmann Voss ................... especially in light of the Magdeburg connection. Father and son, maybe? Anyway, another eBay find. Thanks again.
Robin Lumsden Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 I've emailed the musicologist. To be continued ...........................
The Prussian Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 In 1939 there was a Hauptmann Voß mentioned as Adjutatnt of the Landwehrkommandeur Krefeld (later Mülheim /Ruhr)
Robin Lumsden Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 Thanks, Andy. I'm still awaiting a response from the musicologist ........................
