The Prussian Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Hello! Can anyone recommend a collection of british marching songs on CD? I checked eby, but I only found some CDs with only 12-15 songs. I need a real collection where I can find the most popular songs of that genre. Thanks a lot in advance
Mervyn Mitton Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Andy - you need to look at the listings on one of the British music stores. Virgin and I think, HMV can be looked up. List British Military Bands to get a wide selection. Mervyn
peter monahan Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 And if you want the lyrics of songs actually sung on the march in WWII, find a copy of "Songs from the Front and Rear" which was, at least when published in the 1970's, the definitive list of dirty army songs!
