Jock Auld Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Guys, Don't know where to post this so if needs to go please move it on. I thought it was quite cool and I think it predates TR? It is made in the Hannover area, shame it didn't have a mini KM tally. I don't think this would not have been cheap to make in its day as it is very well made
Bernhard H.Holst Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Hello Jock. To outfit children with navy-like clothing incl. hats, went back a long time. My brother and myself were outfitted like that. Should find that photo... Bernhard H. Holst
IrishGunner Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Bernhard, I bet your Legionnaire buddies would have enjoyed that photo! ;)
Bernhard H.Holst Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Bernhard, I bet your Legionnaire buddies would have enjoyed that photo! Hello Rick. They would have. However it was all the rage and not a short duration fad as we see ( should we watch) nowadays. Bernhard H. Holst
Bernhard H.Holst Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 (edited) Hello. This picture may just be watched by some few. It shows my mother, brother and my two sisters about 1942. My father was in the service of the Luftwaffe as a civilian (due to limited eyesight not in military service) and on duty in Slesia. Yours truely or is it truly? on the right. Bernhard H.
