Uniform ID help

Would someone please identify the branch of service, rank and period of the below uniform? Also would someone post a picture of the correct visor cap for the uniform. Thanks.

Looks like a standard Army general's uniform from the 1980s or so. The shirt (at least the really bad shoulder boards) doesn't go with it.

What you can not see in this picture could be a problem.  Have a look at this link and compare it with the picture that you posted.

So, it seems my old account disappeared. Well - let's post away from this new one.

This is a M1969 parade uniform for a major-general, likely a 1980s set. As Gordin mentioned what can't be seen is a "problem" - most upper deck awards are missing.
There should be one or two more medal bars with orders and campaign awards. Still, this is a nice set.
The shoulder boards on the shirt are for a major of the justice branch. Someone tried his/(her) best to make it complete. Too bad someone snatched the awards.
