Help with identification Flying hat

Hi as you have guessed I purchased a few items last week and being new to collecting am seeking some help to point me in the right direction for research , I do hope you don't mind me posting all my items, 

 

this is is a sheepskin flying hat, I think it might be USA in origins , any help gladly received

According to the Drawing Number on the label, what you have is a FS Type 1942 B-6 WW2 shearling flying helmet, as worn by the US Army Air Force [bomber] crews.  Nice piece!
