Well I finally found a pair of shoulder boards for my Air Force collection.

I've been looking for a pair like that forever--

Aviation Technical Engineering branch-- either naval aviation from 1943, or army from circa 1947 into the 1950s (6 sided not pointed at button end, as the WW2 army 5 sided ones were).

Quite a find! I'm just back from another strike out show this morning-- I haven't seen nice hard to find branch boards like this in YEARS.

Nice boards!

But if you want to represent early type of boards (pre-1955) you should to find big emblems. Look here for understanding what I mean. Brother from Border Guards. :D
