Campaign medal War with Spain and case

Finally I've found a case for my medal . It came in a lot with other cases, all with notes inside, referring to their identity. The identity of the others was correct, so I assume this is the real deal as well. I also have the Philippine Insurrection Medal 1899, awarded to the same individual. Would the case to this be the same, or is there any way to tell them apart?

Peter - These boxes would be incorrect since both medals were produced by the US Mint and the correct boxes would indicate it along with the medal title printed on the outer lid
