Katanga badge

Acquired this with a group of other African items, thought it may be of some interest.

Those are nice badges but not that hard to get.

Some stock's where found in the '80 ties here in Antwerp and still for sale at most flea markets.

That may be, but I havent come across more than one or two since acquiring it. It also came along with several other badges which I have since determined are associated with Mike Hoare's 5 Commando operating in the Congo. I will post photos.

Belgian Congo is my main interest in militaria.

Great part of my collection was found in international fairs and sales (with the help of forum colleagues!!)
