Wound Badge 1918 - silver grade

Hello all,

today i got this silver grade wound badge. 

Any ideas how to get of some rust? 

Or should i leave it as it is?

Hi Stefan

Most were made of iron plates and then received silver finish .. it is the common good. Remove rust is not an easy task, it'd better just try to stop corrosion (this is my opinion)..

Thanks Lambert. I tryed WD40 and Ballistol. 

 

It Looks better now.
