Stuka f Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 Not just oridinary machines, but machines used for leather, tarpaulin, etc... I got like 10 different models, non is in working order (yet!), and here is the nicest one:
Les Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 I have a Singer 29, with a very similar base type. The head on the Singer looks like the one below. Everything is either cast iron, or machined steel. It's heavy, built to last, and getting harder to find.
Stuka f Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 Hey Les, thanks for showing yours as well! I do have simillar bases as well. I'll try to put a pic asap!
Tony Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 I bought my wife one many, many years ago but for normal cotton sewing, I don't think she's ever used it and I'm no longer sure where it is. Were they all in your new place Kris?
Stuka f Posted February 7, 2016 Author Posted February 7, 2016 Hey Tony, no, it was a collection I started over ten years ago. My wife didn't want any of them :-(
