Uffz. Rohleder Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Hello all, Need help to identify the ribbon on his single bar.
Beau Newman Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 The shading can get a bit odd for the colors on these old photos. The only thing with that stripe pattern I can think of is the China Medal.

Combined with single-medal ribbon bar using the old style wrap, I think we are looking at a China veteran who is proud of his earlier service. Can we see the entire photo?
Uffz. Rohleder Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 (edited) Thank you ver much guys. I always think about it could be China Medal - but was never shure. Of course you can - here the entire photo. Its a Father and Son studio Portrait. Stefan Would be interesting to know if they both made it out of the war alive Edited May 19, 2016 by Uffz. Rohleder
Claudius Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 Ahh, now the circumstances of this photo come together a little bit. Dad is only too happy to pose with his serving son, but he has some rank and overseas experience to show.
