Hi folks, thought you might like this. Heinrich Gottheil served with Schw. Art. Reg 621 they were equipped with a batterie of 10cm guns & two batteries of heavy Howitzers. It became part of Art. Reg 146 & fought in France, Italy & Hungary. He died of Dysentery on 21.9.42. He was awarded the Westwall medal & Ost medal. Stewy

I know the feeling, our 'deep latrine' at Basra Airport had very few floaters for a while, the whole Battery went down with the severe squirts.  It was unpleasant to say the least!  But not as bad as he had!
