nickstrenk Posted May 1, 2017 Posted May 1, 2017 I am sure they deserve to have the topic. 1.Czechoslovak Prize of Defenders of Piece It came to being after WWII.There were many versions of this award. The last from the 70ies was in silver. Also some of villages, towns not only persons were awarded. 2.Medal fot Exceptional Merit The highest award of Revolutionary Trade Union. In siver-gilted.In my collector practice I have seen only two of them.Silver is so agressive that penetraces through gilting. 3.Gold Medal of the Union of Chechoslovak-Soviet Friendship, with the certificate,bronze-strongly gilted. The medal was awarded to General Ernest Bielik. His name is in Wikipedia. He was the commander of the partisane unit Janošík during the Slovak National Uprising.
