Kriegsmarine Reproduction of Commemorative Plates

Hello everyone,

I've recently seen this kriegsmarine commemorative plate which is mentioned as a reproduction by Meissen.

My questions are ,

1) How do we know / tell its a repro??Kai Winkler seems to have a lot of these commemorative plates lately, are they OK???

2) Are there any reference books/ links with genuine plates??

Since this thread did not go anywhere, I thought I would post my SMS Emden commemorative plate and muetzenband -- pre-WWI. The muetzenband is a Reserve Muetzenband and quite rare for this ship as is the plate. The years of service for the sailor are on the swallow tail tips.
