BURGERHAUS Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Hello Gents Have any of you ever seen one of these and if so how would it be worn? Attached to a pocket perhaps. Smaller than a penny and light as a feather. Thanks for your time. Regards Robert
--dj--Joe Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Crimped onto a pocket or perhaps through a lapel buttonhole. If on a women's jacket? Not sure. If loose weave cloth no problem. --dj--Joe
BURGERHAUS Posted April 15, 2018 Author Posted April 15, 2018 Joe Have you ever seen one of these before? I wonder about who in particular would wear this. Maybe its the bottom line generic souvenir or one who works for KdF? No clue
--dj--Joe Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Robert, I'll have to hit the tinnie books. No date no ship or trip name. Generic NSG/KDF donation badge? --dj--Joe
--dj--Joe Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Robert, Saw one similar on another forum. It was for Gau Franken. Had the same attachment setup. --dj--Joe
BURGERHAUS Posted April 15, 2018 Author Posted April 15, 2018 That's good to know Joe. Thanks for the help.
Scowen Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Sorry for my late reply, been under the weather lately.... Very nice Robert, a new one for me as well. It reminds me of the "flag day" type badges that we had when I was a lad. People on the street corners shaking their collection cans would clip a simiar type of badge to your pocket or button hole if you gave them a couple of pennies for the cause that they were collectin for. Nice find.
