Laurence Strong Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Here are the 57 medals that I have collected to date.1st is an RK w/ Oaks and Swords bought off of a member on this forum. It's a 2nd version with a post war S&L frame, the case was a "Throw in" and is not original to the medal

Laurence Strong Posted April 10, 2006 Author Posted April 10, 2006 The rev, I believe the one without ribbon to be a later issue as it is slightly smaller and the workmanship and quality are just not there. Thats all I have at this time though I intend to add to this eventually. Thanks for looking and all comments and opinions are welcome.
Grant Broadhurst Posted April 10, 2006 Posted April 10, 2006 Hi Laurence ,Thanks for showing your 1957,s !The RK is a nice second type with good quality it must have been one of the first of these using the second type of core before the quality nose dived .The KvK2,s you show are a good example of early and late piece,s the quality of the early one screams out to you where the later one looks like a tramp , yes they did mount the ring wrongly on the later one,s why i don't know .CheersGrant
