AdrianC Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 I would appreciate it if any of our Belgian members could help with the following. How easy is it to obtain copies personnel files from the Musée royal de l'Armée et d'Histoire Militaire? I have looked at their web page however the copy costs if I have interpreted them correctly are high? Officer in question Capitaine - Edgard Emile Telesphore Rene Lefevre. Thank you
Stuka f Posted September 3, 2020 Posted September 3, 2020 Hello, it is not easy at all. You have to do it personaly and there is a cost.
AdrianC Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 Stuka f Thanks. Looks like I will have to find other ways of putting his military career together. Adrian
Stuka f Posted September 4, 2020 Posted September 4, 2020 (edited) There is a Belgian/ Dutch WWI forum, axed on the history, I know some members often do some research at the library of the museum. You could ask there. http://www.forumeerstewereldoorlog.nl/ And BTW, I think I have the medal you are looking for. Edited September 4, 2020 by Stuka f
Stuka f Posted September 5, 2020 Posted September 5, 2020 Try to contact "love 4 history" member. I think he is one of the active researchers, familiar with the museum' s library... 1
