Jacob West Posted December 17, 2020 Posted December 17, 2020 Hey All! Long time browser, first time poster, and recently a new militaria collector. I am looking forward to joining and learning from the imperial german collector community here on gmic! Recently I got this ww1 ek2 from a mixed lot of imperial german awards on ebay. This included a Merit cross for War Aid and and 1/2 mark coin, but this awards maker has eluded me for some time. From the research ive done from "The Iron Times" I seem to have narrowed the stamp down to "crescent crown 800". While I know that the 800 means a higher silver content (.800 parts silver if im correct), the details on the maker have evaded me. So any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou! VtwinVince Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 Not sure on the maker, but clearly a high quality piece.
