Deutschritter Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 (edited) I would appreciate any information on Wilhelm-Karl Herrmann (1901--1979), who received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross 1944. He joined the Reichswehr (maybe artillery, then cavalry; or direct to the cavalry?), later served in the Wehrmacht. Rittmeister Herrmann was given leave 1937 and rode on horseback through all of China until 1939. His famous book is "Ein Ritt für Deutschland". At last he was Oberst. Maybe Russian POW? Any information would be gratefully accepted. Thank you! Edited April 5, 2021 by Deutschritter
