French Reconnaissance Medal

Hi! A new French medal on my looking-for list is one I only just found out about. Actually saw it in a grouping and it was awarded to an SOE translator who worked in Algiers during WWII. So . . . I am wanting to find one that is from the era of the end of WWII - later 1940s era. 

 

Anyone able to tell what era this one is, or give me some pointers on how to tell era/age on this particular medal? Thanks in advance!

Hi, here is a good WW2 bronze medal, (exist in 3 class : Gold, Silver and bronze.

 

a different model exist for the first world war. j try to post photographs later.
