Decipher Signature help

Hi all,

 

Can anyone offer up suggestions on this guys signature please?    Jose (Josef?) .........

Leutnant in 1917/18- possibly Cavalry or maybe Artillery

EKO-R3 with war decorations and swords (Bronze?) Sigmum Laudis with swords, Bronze Bravery (awarded as a Fanhrich?),

and a KTK.

Hi Ian,

After Jose or Josef I’m going to go with…

Joseph 
& Soldorich 

SOLDORICH 
But… The ‘ich’ could be wrong.

 -  Noticeably the { i } has no • above it.

 -  If the { i } is another letter, eg a or e…the last two letters may also be wrong, ie, the ‘h’could then be a ‘k’.

 

There are other spellings the name Soldorich but most have been used just a handful of times.

G'day Tony,

 

I have trawled through the 1918 k.u.k. Ranglisten and the 1918 k.k. Ranglisten and have been unable to find anyone who even comes close to SOLDORICH or any reasonable facsimiles.   I do not have access to the k.u. Honved ranglist, and it is very possible he would be found within.

 

I n the mean time the search continues, but I very much appreciate your input.
