Cased 1900-1901 China campaign medal with serial number and searched paper

Hi all

here is my find for a very nice and rare cased 1900 China campaign medal with number 913

according to the searched paper the medal was to Sgt William Shook

any opinions are welcome

Superb! Modern service medals can't be traced to this detail.

I saw this discussed on a FB group and sorry to hear that you were a victim of fraud since the numbering was recently applied by someone who intended to deceive you.

I put this up on US Militaria Forum in the section called "Real or What" - Not sure if you are a member so put it on for you. - It is clearly a fake with the intent to deceive - Those guys are very knowledgeable and willing to assist.
