JamesBy Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 It looks beautiful, but these medals seem to have been established by the Japanese puppet regime during Japan's invasion of China.
diwe Posted December 20, 2023 Posted December 20, 2023 Greetings! I am trying to identify a particular medal on the medal bar (see green arrow) of Admiral Hisaharu Kubota. He served from 1941-43 as a military attaché in China during the Wang Jingwei regime. It does not seem to be a Japanese decoration nor a decoration of Reorganized National Government of the Republic of China. Does anybody have an idea? Thanks so much.
No one Posted December 21, 2023 Author Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) Dear Gentlemen, Could be one of these, 1st class 3 stars or 2nd class 2 stars? Provisional Government of the Republic of China (1937–1940) - Wikipedia Yours sincerely, No one Edited December 21, 2023 by No one
JapanX Posted December 22, 2023 Posted December 22, 2023 No, this is something else. Geometry of the rays and central medallion are obviously different.
No one Posted December 22, 2023 Author Posted December 22, 2023 Dear Gentlemen, OK, no problem, still looking! The center appears to have the shape of a vase or vessel. Yours sincerely, No one
