Eagle in black

Hi guys, 

 

Just wondering if there is any way you could tell if a luftwaffe eagle on black, is HG or mechanic. Did they use the same backing ?

 

I only just started collecting LW insignia and got a black one heading my way.

sorry for the delay i have been looking through a few references, but i am afraid i can`t find an answer as the only personnel (beside the mechanics) would of been the HG tank crews because i don`t think the mech overalls has breast eagles applied?

If you can locate the the three volume set on the L/W the answer may be there 🙂
