Avitas Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Hi there,Another medal from the general awards category, my Sudetenland occupation medal (Oktober 1 1938 Medal). It is one of the earlier pieces I purchased, and I believe one of the few original pieces I received from a certain dealer. It is very crisp and the ribbon bar is a no-glow. I don't think there are many fakes of this around, but it would feel good to have an opinion or two on it. Are there many different makers or variations on this medal? I know I am full of questions, but hey, isn't that what we're here for? Thanks again Pat

Paul R Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 I feel that this one is a nice original as well. Can we please see the ribbon in it's entirity? I think that i might have had the Praque clasp at one point as well.Paul
Avitas Posted May 8, 2006 Author Posted May 8, 2006 Sure thing Paul! Here are pics of the whole ribbon, and it does appear it had the Prague Castle bar at some time. Shame its not still there.Pat
Guest Darrell Posted May 8, 2006 Posted May 8, 2006 (edited) Looks fine, but like mentioned earlier ... someone had a Prague bar on that ribbon at one point. Edited May 8, 2006 by Darrell
