Torpedobootsflotille.Dated 5th of April 1939.I found these "Flottillenchefs" names:April 1939 Kvtkpt. WaueM?rz 1940 Kvtkpt. MarksMai 1940 Kptlt. Guest Rick Research Posted May 7, 2006 Share Posted May 7, 2006 No, that is indeed a slanting downhill W-a-u-e.It was his second day in command-- 4 April 1939 to 4 March 1940.Georg Waue was born in M?nster 1 February 1901. He joined the navy on 1 July 1918. Final rank Konteradmiral zur See 1 March 1945 (German Cross in Gold 12.12.43).He was shot out of hand by the Yugoslavs after surrendering Fortress Pola on 8 May 1945.
