King’s Police Medal

DCC Emma Barnett of Staffordshire Constabulary, has become one of the first officers in the country to be awarded the new King’s Policing Medal (KPM) for Distinguished Service following a ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Trying to work out how long it is likely to be, before the only medals an Officer will be wearing, will be a C111R LSGC, and or perhaps a KPM? 
 

Also how long it’ll be before no Officers are wearing any medals bearing the Queen’s effigy?

The assorted Jubilee medals require 5 years in service, so work our the average length of a full career as a police officer and subtract 5 years...
