    Hudum Mongol Bichig Script:

After a struggle with the Lexilogos / Mongolian Bichig website and a little help I now believe one of my favourite badges but with unknown providence says that

From the Obverse: “New Barag Left Banner / Xing’an Province”

From the Reverse: “Merit Medal” (Medal of Commendation)

    Note from Wikipedia:

New Barag Left Banner is a banner of Inner Mongolia, China, bordering Mongolia to the south. It is under the administration of Hulunbuir City. Administrative divisions

New Barag Left Banner is made up of 2 towns and 5 ethnic sums.

Both Manchu script and Mongolian script have a striking resemblance.

    Yours sincerely,

    Dear No one

From Lexilogos, there are two very similar characters - and .

I am unable to say why the badge shows ᠪᠠᠷᠬᠣ and not ᠪᠠᠷᠭᠤ but I am convinced that it should be the latter.
