Soviet Medal for Courage - opinions wanted

I have this medal in my collection. Since I am not an expert on Soviet medals I would like to ask you whether this medal is an original piece.

Looks good to me.  Probably awarded towards the end of 1944, so a solid wartime award.  Shame about the missing ribbon but the suspension looks original to the award.
