a friend is considering buying one of these and asked me what I know about it.

I said I’d find out but have drawn a blank using Google

 

 

 

Can anyone shed a little light on the organisation and possibly the criteria for its award if any other than membership?

Hi Gents,

I thought I might add this here.

 

An Austrian kriegervereine association piece with a “St. Lambrechten” clasp/link for veterans of the 1914-18 war.

 

 

 

 

Sankt Lambrech is in Styria, Tyrol I believe. Seems popular for skiing nowadays. There is still today a memorial to the fallen of both wars to be found in the abbey there.
