I have a photo of Viktor Lutze reviewing a police formation, and also mentioned on the reverse is Kurt Matthis.  He is referred to as Regierungsprasident.  Seemingly of some importance, but I can find no such person.  I'd appreciate any references!

    Regards,

    Kevin

    Add.

I found, that he was One-Year-volunteer from 1911-1912 in Inf.Rgt.13.

He joined the war as aspirant-officer in Inf.Rgt.57, was wounded twice (but I found him only once as Vizefeldwebel in 1914)

    June 1916 he was company-leader of 2./57

Thank you, Andy!  I didn't get a notice about your reply, so it took me a while to see it.

    Best regards,

    Kevin
