Deutschritter Posted April 10 Posted April 10 (edited) Gentlemen, I am looking for any- and everything about von Roden (1861-1945). His original name was Emmo Maria Max Wellhausen, he was adopted in 1882. He was promoted to Sekondeleutnant on 12 February 1884. After the war, he commanded the Marine-Brigade „von Roden“. Promoted to Generalmajor on 10 February 1921 with RDA from 1 December 1920 (?) I would really love to know, what decorations he earned in WWI. Thanks! Edited April 11 by Deutschritter
Deutschritter Posted April 11 Author Posted April 11 (edited) His known pre-war decorations are: Prussian Centenary Medal 1897 (Zentenarmedaille) Red Eagle Order (Roter Adlerorden), 4th Class (RAO4) Prussian Long Service Cross for 25 years (Königlich Preußisches Dienstauszeichnungskreuz) Chilean Order of Merit (Chilenischer Verdienstorden), 2nd Class (CV2) What neck order is he wearing? Maybe Kronenorden, 2nd Class with Swords? Edited April 11 by Deutschritter
